What we do

We offer a wide range of ABA services to help your child

What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that utilizes scientific principles of behavior to effect socially significant changes in behavior and teach new skills.

How ABA therapy will help your child

ABA is a research-based treatment for individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Years of scientific study have demonstrated that ABA is a highly effective therapy for decreasing problem behaviors, increasing functional skills, including social and communication skills, and improving quality of life. Your child will learn new skills, build upon their existing talents, and develop strong social and coping abilities, which will aid them over the years as they meet new people and navigate through novel environments.

Hidden Gems ABA

What will ABA therapy consist of?

ABA therapy will consist of an individually designed and tailor-made treatment plan to address your child’s specific needs and unique challenges, enabling them to reach their full potential. A board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) and registered behavior technician (RBT) will work one-on-one with your child in your home or at school to implement the ABA program.

ABA therapy works across settings to treat social and communication deficits, maladaptive behaviors, and more, including:

  • Cultivating conversational skills
  • Enhancing pragmatic language
  • Increasing verbal abilities
  • Promoting functional communication
  • Developing play – independent, parallel, cooperative, and social
  • Advancing social skills
  • Reducing maladaptive behaviors
  • Encouraging self-reliance and independence
